Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 14th. DON'T FORGET YOUR CLOCKS!!!
We would like to thank everyone for your support during the restaurant change over. We appreciate your patience during this transition. PLEASE be aware of the new Winter Gill Hours. As Spring begins, will be expanding our hours on April 1st. Friday Night Steak Night will be happening once a month. Next Steak Night, March 19th (1st Couples Golf) plus Vodka Tasting.
If your dues payment is not received by the 10th of each month a late fee is automatically assessed.

MEN’S ASSOCIATION NEWS
We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM and encourage any member and prospective member to attend.
COUPLES GOLF begins on Friday, March 19th. We will add a few new twists this year; join us and have a great time. Tee time will be at 6:00. To play, the Couples need to sign up by 5:30. You may register by calling the Pro Shop at 842-4646. To get on the distribution list that will provide information about COUPLES GOLF, send an email to robthart@comcast.net.
BUSINESSMEN & WOMEN WEDNESDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17th, is the first evening of this seasons edition of BUSINESSMEN AND WOMEN WEDNESDAY NIGHT SPECIAL. Damon Cothran will lead the group, and he invites you to participate in this point game. Tee time is at 5:30; to play, you must register by 5:00. To sign up, you may send TEXT MESSAGES ONLY to Damon Cothran at 619-6798, or call the Pro Shop at 842-4646. Non-members of Valleybrook Golf & Country Club are invited to participate; their greens fee charge will be $20.00.
NEWS FROM THE VALLEYBROOK MEN’S ASSOCIATION
Please be reminded that the VALLEYBROOK MEN’S ASSOCIATION will meet the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00. We need YOUR participation in our tournaments this year; these tournaments are a great way to raise funds for improvements to our Course. I would like to thank everyone who helped out in the grill with the carpet, paint, etc., it looks great! Special thanks go to Gary, Jimmy, Cindy, Jim, Paul and Calvin. A tentative WORKDAY AT VALLEYBROOK has been scheduled for Saturday, April 10; look for additional details in your email or in the newsletter. The way I see it, we can sit around and complain and be part of the problem or get busy and be part of the solution. Hope to see you at Valleybrook on the 10th of April. Weather permitting, our first Jack & Jill tournament will be March 20th with an expected tee time of 9:00.

LADIES ASSOCIATION NEWS
As March approaches, let’s get those clubs & shoes out and dust them off. APRIL 1st ***OPENING DAY*** Let’s get ready for a good year!!!
Thanks to all who attended our first meeting of the year. We were able to accomplish quite a bit. Special thanks to everyone who helped with the brunch! We have 2 additions to this years Ladies play that we are excited about: VWGA members may invite a Prospective Member to play with us on the 2nd Thursday of each month. The cost will be $20.00 for cart and greens fee plus $2.00 for play day. The prospect must have a handicap of 30 or better. The same guest may only play on these special Prospective Member Days twice this year. This will be a trial program with the purpose of growing our Ladies Membership at Valleybrook. We will chose the type of play on these days where any prospect will feel comfortable. 2. Beginning April 5th, we will have our first official "Ladies night at the Brook". We have a 6:30pm Tee Time for all of our VWGA women who would like to play in the evening. Please call into the pro shop by 6:00pm. This will be a fun night out for our ladies group. We will unofficially start this on March 15th at 6:00 for anyone who wants to start the season early. Remember that the grill will not be open on Monday nights until April 1, so bring your own water. Just 2 more reasons to get your Membership dues in by March 4th. Your $43.00 includes your handicap fee. Please send it to Wanda Harrelson if you have not already done so. March Play 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th team points based on Ind. handicap.
